Rock stars

Bright Eyes and his big sister were in a band today. She organised it all of course including the fabulous fire headdress, and took the lead guitar role for herself, but Bright Eyes was pretty happy being the drummer. They let the baby play the piano. Everyone had 'shades' and they were all very cool.

Hi Cecily!!

This is Gemma, I met you on camp. Was just looking through your blogs and thought that you might like to know that I did in the end get the transfer to the Dietetics course at uni (2 days before I started).

and more importantly (to you probably) is that I got into my first choice research project at the RPAH doing... you guessed it! Effects of diet on children with autistic spectrum disorders!!

Im not entirely sure exactly what we have to do yet, but I know its specifically looking at kids with autism and aspergers in relation to delayed intolerance to gluten and casein.

Will keep you posted. btw my email is gemms_27@hotmail.com if you want more info.

That's fantastic Gemma. Keep me posted with what you're doing. I'd love to hear the results - or help with research if you need 'subjects'.

Fairlie - I have no idea what the band name was. I think it would be original though! Sister was singing a song today that she made up which went like this
"I knew a man who ate a bear. I don't know why he ate the bear. But here's something you might find interesting. He married Sophie. I don't know why he did that because she was a naughty girl."
All to the Moonlight Sonata music. So judging by her lyrics, her band names wouldn't be much chop!

Big Sister is very creative!! While you were on camp and we were hanging out together one day, we created a bit of a story, and the main character was Jean Paul.... we had a bit of a French theme going on!
